Your Blackboard Profile and Internet Explorer
We have discovered an issue when trying to edit your Blackboard Profile while using Internet Explorer 8 and above. Even though Internet Explorer 8, 9, and 10 are supported the Blackboard Cloud does not function correctly if you are using Internet Explorer in compatibility mode. When you use Internet Explorer in compatibility mode you are telling Internet Explorer to run like Internet Explorer 7. Therefore; when you try to access your Blackboard Profile in compatibility mode you receive an message that says "The profile you are looking for could not be found." To resolve this issue turn compatibility mode off and you will then be able to access your profile without a problem. Alternatively you can also use another browser such as Firefox or Chrome. These two browsers are not affected by the compatibility mode issue.
