TLT @ SiDLiT 2016

The Summer Institute on Distance Learning and Instructional Technology (SIDLIT) hosted by Johnson County Community College took place on August 4-5 where educators and distance learning support staff from regional community colleges and higher education institutions attended to learn and share by way of presentations, special interest group discussions, and hands-on workshops on topics related to teaching and learning. 

This year the following TLT members presented on:
  • Minimizing Student Frustration while Maximizing Faculty Satisfaction Using Simple Course Design by Nellie Modaress (SoN Liaison), David Martin (SoN), Rosann O'Dell (SHP)
  • Designing an ePortfolio Using Blackboard to Assess Progression in Clinical Competencies by Nellie Modaress (SoN Liaison) Lauren Mathiott (eSS SoN), Chito Belchez (SoN), Alyson Luckenbach (SoN)
  • Inside Microsoft's HoloLens by Sonny Painter (SHP Liaison)
