New to TLT: Amy Burgess, Ben Hooper and Bob Eastman


Welcome to TLT Ben Hooper, Bob Eastman, and Amy Burgess!

New to TLT-Media: Amy Burgess, A/V Classroom Support Specialist

This February, TLT-Media welcomed Amy Burgess as one of our A/V Classroom Support Specialists. Amy comes to us from Kansas State Olathe where she worked as IT & A/V support for the school’s graduate research programs. She has a degree in Information Technology-Networking. Amy enjoys traveling and being outdoors, and competing in a sand volleyball team in her free time.


New to TLT-EdTech: Ben Hooper, Learning Management Systems Administrator

In June, Ben Hooper was hired into the role of LMS administrator. Ben comes to KUMC from Saint Luke's College of Health Sciences where he worked as an Educational Technologist and LMS Administrator. He previously held positions of eLearning Support Specialist and Liaison to the School of Nursing at KUMC. Ben received his MS in Educational Technology from the University of Central Missouri as well as an undergraduate degree in music education and performance. In his spare time he enjoys playing musical instruments, woodturning, and gardening.


New to TLT-EdTech: Bob Eastman, Educational Multimedia System Administrator

 Bob has been with KUMC since 2011 when he joined TLT-Media as a scheduler. Soon, he became an AV Tech providing classroom support for instructors and students while also maintaining classroom audio and video equipment. Later, he was promoted to Media Technician and took on a bigger role with video production and began providing technical support for clients during on campus events. Armed with his multimedia experience, he is hoping to help the university keep up to date with relevant video conferencing solutions and content management systems. Away from work, Bob also loves spending time with his wife, Amanda, and one year old daughter, Elena. He also enjoys watching sci-fi movies, English Premiere league soccer, and is an avid video gamer too.
